Helping customers create products that stand out in their markets, and lead their field in design, performance and imagination.
Colback is the umbrella brand name we give to all our technical fabrics that find their uses in carpeting, flooring, automotive and decorative solutions.
Behind them sits a twin-step manufacturing process that spins, lays down and bonds bi-component filaments in a unique way, creating an intricate, non-woven web of material, both flexible and stable.
Products developed with Colback technology have enormous versatility and exceptional strength, and each one can be precisely tailored to the application required by our customers.
For the global carpet industry, Colback is the number one choice of primary backing - consistently strong, easy to dye, with clean cuts and no fraying. Carpet tiles fit with barely visible joins, broadloom carpets retain excellent pattern definition, while dust control mats and vinyl flooring are tough enough to withstand wear and repeated cleaning.
Primary backings by Colback help carpet tufts bind strongly and provide, products that are easy to form. Car carpet can be moulded to fit complex vehicle contours with minimal manufacturing effort, or produced to lay perfectly flat and stand up to the heaviest abrasion.
Our spun-laid production process opens up a wealth of creative possibilities taking advantage of Colback’s transparency and ability to accept colour. Table runners and place mats are decorative and durable. In wallpaper, Colback provides unique aesthetics and contributes to superior tear resistance. Window blinds can be designed to transmit exactly the desired amount of light, while remaining resistant to UV and fading.
Recreation is a growing market for Colback as manufacturers recognise the advantages of its strength, lightness and flexibility, and see potential uses such as sports shoe reinforcement.
Helping our customers deliver amazing results on projects that improve our quality of life…while driving business growth.
