Low & Bonar PLC - Disposal of Bonar Plastics Division

Further to the Company’s announcement of July 19th 2005, Low & Bonar PLC announces that it completed the disposal of its Plastics Division to Promens hf., a subsidiary of Atorka Group hf. (“Atorka”) on 8th September 2005.

The Company also announces that, following the successful completion of the sale of the Plastics Division, it has notified Atorka that it has decided to release Atorka from its obligations under the standstill agreement entered into in connection with the sale with immediate effect.
