Bonar Technical Fabrics
This part of our business specialises in the production of a number of product ranges including geotextiles, agrotextiles, technical industrial, textiles and fibres for the industrial and building sectors.

The customer base for our Fabrics business is worldwide. Our products find their way into prestigious building projects such as Disney Park in Hong Kong, the Palm complex in Dubai through to applications closer to home such as industrial greenhouses in Holland.

The main raw material used is polypropylene, but aluminium, polyester and polyethylene are also used in some finished products.

With more than 35 years of experience in the field of synthetic textiles, our Fabrics business is proud to be a major player in their markets. This position has been further strengthened in recent years with a focused investment in woven and non-woven production technology.

Geo-Tipptex
Geo-Tipptex has been a market leader for more than 20 years in manufacturing non-woven geotextiles. The quality of the manufactured Tipptex geotextile is made evident by the continuous satisfaction and loyalty of our many customers and the number of prestigious projects in Hungary and through the world where our geotextiles have been used. Expanding our product range with geosynthetic products from our partner companies, we offer a complete range of products for building construction and civil engineering, horticulture and agricultural usage including woven and non-woven geotextiles, geogrids, erosion control materials, geocells, drainage systems and geomembranes – direct from the manufacturer.

ADFIL
With three decades of combined experience in innovation and fibre development, ADFIL uses the latest equipment and technologies in the production and distribution of quality construction fibres for all types of cementitious products and applications.

ADFIL offers the Full Design and Construction Package. Our expertise and knowledge of the construction industry means that we can offer our customers tailored solutions in terms of engineered proposals, concrete mix designs, packaging configurations and fibre dosage equipment.

ADFIL products include DURUS and IGNIS. DURUS is a widely accepted macro-synthetic fibre. It is easier and safer to use than traditional steel reinforcement. Using DURUS can save on construction time, offering a 3-dimensional reinforcement system. It can be used in industrial floors, shotcrete, precast, and vertically formed areas.

Durus

IGNIS has been used as the key ingredient in the development of passive concrete fire protection systems used in immersed tube, cut and cover and bored tunnelling projects. ADFIL’s IGNIS fibre has been used in both underground and above ground vertical structures.
